WASHINGTON (AP) - A 14-year-old girl has been arrested after police say she made a false bomb threat to KIPP DC College Preparatory school.

WRC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2dUuunm) that according to DC police, the girl called the DC Office of Unified Communications at about 9:20 a.m. Wednesday and said people were planning to blow up the school. Police say the girl then hung up without providing more information.

The girl has been charged with false report of a weapon of mass destruction.
