BOSSIER CITY, La. (AP) - There’s a new commander in place at Barksdale Air Force Base.

Commander Maj. Gen. Richard Clark handed over command to Maj. Gen. Thomas Bussiere on Tuesday during a change-of-command ceremony.

KTBS-TV (https://bit.ly/2cXnvV2 ) reports Clark is leaving Barksdale to serve as the Third Air Force Commander at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

As Eighth Air Force Commander, Bussiere will be responsible for more than 20,000 service members and all of the Air Force’s bomber fleet.
