CANYONVILLE, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say an 89-year-old man died in a house fire in southern Oregon.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says firefighters responded early Monday to a fully engulfed home in Canyonville. After extinguishing the blaze, they found the body of Donald Olsen.

The sheriff’s office says the fire ignited grass and threatened other structures before it was stopped.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
