MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (AP) - The Elmore County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a Mountain Home woman.

KTVB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2ggoAi5 ) she was identified as 71-year-old Paula Knudson Ferbrache.

The sheriff’s office received a missing woman report Friday. She had left work at about 2 p.m. and had not yet returned home.

A search Friday was unsuccessful, and then on Saturday morning, someone reported seeing her car on a dirt road in an agricultural area north of Mountain Home.

Deputies found Ferbrache with the car. She was dead.

The sheriff’s office says her death is being treated as suspicious.

Sheriff Mike Hollinshead said Saturday that an autopsy has been scheduled but the results won’t be immediately available.
