LONGWOOD, Fla. (AP) - A bicyclist was killed by a commuter train in Florida.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that the man died after being hit by a SunRail train Monday in Seminole County.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that the man tried to cross some railroad tracks near Longwood after the crossing arms went down. He was struck and pronounced dead at the scene.
The train had been carrying about two dozen people. No other injuries were reported.
The man’s name wasn’t immediately released.
