OGDEN, Utah (AP) - A Utah couple entered guilty pleas after authorities say they ran a prostitution operation out of their Ogden home, using drugs and intimidation to keep women working for them.

Deseret News reports 20-year-old Lynnsie Reddish and 31-year-old Terrance Chavez Jones each pleaded guilty on Monday to two counts of human trafficking - charges that could lead to a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.

Prosecutors initially charged the pair with 19 felony charges each, including kidnapping, money laundering and exploitation of a prostitute. The other charges were dropped as part of a plea agreement.

Authorities say the couple beat up one woman after they thought she was going to leave their operation. Authorities say they recruited another woman with an intellectual disability.

Sentencing is scheduled for late January.
