2 found dead with gunshot wounds in Maryland

SHADY SIDE, Md. (AP) — A man and woman have been found dead with gunshot wounds in Maryland.

Anne Arundel County Police said officers responded to a report of the sound of gunshots in the area of Scott Town and Nick roads in Shady Side early Thursday. Police say they found the man and woman dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Homicide detectives are investigating. Police say they do not believe there is a threat to the public.
