ANALYSIS/OPINION:
On Wednesday June 14, a supporter of failed socialist Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders opened fire on a group of Republican senators and congressmen. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was critically injured in the assault. James Hodgekinson was a devoted supporter of “Bolshevik Bernie” and an adherent of the new American hate movement.
The new American hate movement is the American left.
Even before Hodgekinson’s homicidal rage, the left had totally transformed itself into a hate movement. The shooting of Congressman Scalise brought this to the attention of real Americans.
The hate movement’s responses were shocking, to put it mildly.
Manny Schewitz writing on a website called “Modernliberals.com” said he did not have an ounce of sympathy for Congressman Scalise. Scalise’s “crimes?” that merited such hatred from this liberal?
Scalise is a conservative.
That was not even the most outrageous thing written.
James Devine, a longtime Democrat operative in New Jersey ranted against Scalise and could not hide his joy that Scalise had been shot. He finished his tweet with the hashtag #HuntRepublicanCongressmen.
Other Republican Congressmen have been threatened. Tennessee Congressman David Kustoff was almost run off the road a few weeks ago. Law enforcement investigated what they called, “credible threats” against Congressman Tom Garrett and his family. A man was arrested for threatening to shoot Arizona Rep. Martha McSally, a retired Air Force colonel.
Violence from the left is nothing new. In the 60’s and 70’s, bombings and deaths from radical groups like the Weathermen was a routine fact of life. In the last year, conservatives have seen attacks on them from the radical left hate movement. Even before the election of President Trump, his supporters were being assaulted. In San Jose, CA, last June, Trump supporters were chased down and beaten. A federal law suit has been filed against San Jose claiming that city did nothing to protect the supporters against violence. Shockingly, after the event, San Jose’s left-wing Democrat Mayor and member of the new hate movement, blamed Donald Trump for the violence.
The left-wing media is a coconspirator in this new hate movement. Kurt Eichenwald, a writer for Newsweek, said he wanted to see every Republican who voted to repeal Obamacare, “have a family member perish.”
The Huffington Post has run pieces calling for the execution of President Trump and everyone who was “assisting” his agenda. Back in June of 2016, Jesse Benn writing in the Huffington Post said that a violent response to Donald Trump was “as logical as any.”
The Flag Day shooting was not the first episode of violence against conservatives and it will not be the last. The left is not backing down. Their storm troopers are the so-called, “Antifa.” While they claim to be against fascism, in reality, they are communists, who despise freedom and liberty.
The left is not going to disown the violence. The left does not want to disown their new hate movement. Decency and morality mean nothing to the left. The only thing that matters to the new hate movement is power. They have been stripped away from all of the levers of power at the national level and in many states.
Power is the religion of the left. Without it they have nothing.
It is only a matter of time before the radical left kills people
