SPEARFISH, S.D. (AP) - One person is dead after a dump truck crash in western South Dakota’s Lawrence County.
The Highway Patrol says the 43-year-old man driving the truck lost control on a curve on a rural road about 3 miles west of Spearfish. The truck collided with several trees and rolled about 9:15 a.m. Monday, and the man later died from his injuries.
Authorities didn’t immediately release his name.
