OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says southbound lanes of Interstate 235 in north Oklahoma City have reopened after being closed for about three hours due to a fatal crash.

O-DOT says the interstate reopened about 4 p.m. Thursday after being shut down shortly after 1 p.m.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol had closed the interstate and the eastbound ramp from Interstate 44 to I-235 after the crash.

The OHP says the crash was just south of Interstate 44, but details of the accident and the number of fatalities were not immediately released.
