MOULTONBOROUGH, N.H. (AP) - Two anglers had to be rescued from a frozen lake in Moultonborough.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2nlykpo ) rescuers responded to Lake Winnipesaukee (wihn-ah-pah-SAH’-kee) on Wednesday afternoon for a report that someone had fallen through the ice off Harilla Landing.

Officials say they were responding to the scene and received a second report that someone else was also in the water.

Officials say one angler was in the water. The other was in an inner tube on broken ice.

Crews in ice rescue suits rescued both fishermen, as well as a canoer who was trying to help.

One angler was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. The other declined treatment.
