ANALYSIS/OPINION:

In the past few months, the party in power was thrown out and the GOP gained control of all branches of the federal government. Since the election, the Democrats, now the minority party, have been doing little more than calling the president a liar.

After being rather sluggish before the election, the economy seems to be accelerating. Health-care reform, kept in secrecy until presented in a style akin to a vomiting episode, is now the first issue out of the gate.

Will the Republican Party suffer the same fate as the Democrats did in 1994? In an amazing twist of fate, it’s laughable that it was a Clinton who took the win in 1992, and it was a Clinton who suffered the loss in 2016.
