OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Police say a 44-year-old man died after being found with a gunshot wound outside an Oklahoma City apartment complex, and an arrest has been made.

A police report says Joseph Earl Thompson was taken to OU Medical Center on Wednesday, where he died.

Officers were called to the complex where they found Thompson critically wounded. It’s unclear what led to the shooting.

Police arrested 23-year-old Antonio Hicks on suspicion of murder and shooting with intent to kill. He is being held at the Oklahoma County jail without bail. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
