HAVRE, Mont. (AP) - A jury has convicted a 22-year-old Havre man of attempted deliberate homicide in the stabbing of another man.

The Havre Daily reports (https://bit.ly/2qn9R96 ) that Friday’s conviction of Nevada St. Marks followed three days of testimony.

The stabbing victim, Cordell Wilson, testified that St. Marks attacked him in September after an argument over a relationship with an underage girl.



St. Marks said he stabbed Wilson in self-defense.

Sentencing was set for July 28.
