PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities are looking for a man who has robbed at least eight banks and credit unions in Phoenix, Glendale and Surprise since last October.

Phoenix police say the man is white or Hispanic, in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5-foot-8, about 190 pounds and that he wears dress clothes, a black fedora and dark-framed glasses.

Police say the suspect has used a four-door red or maroon sedan or a white Tahoe-style SUV.

His method of operation is to enter a store with a bank branch and hand a note demanding money to a teller.
