PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police say the deaths of a man and woman found shot in a Philadelphia row home are being investigated as a double homicide.

Officers were called to the Kensington residence northeast of the city center just after 9 a.m. Sunday.

They found a 54-year-old man shot in the head and stomach and a 49-year-old woman in a second-floor bedroom also shot in the head.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names weren’t immediately released. Police said no one has been arrested and no weapon was recovered.
