AIKEN, S.C. (AP) - A man shot in the parking lot of a South Carolina apartment complex died a day after he was wounded.

Aiken Public Safety officers said in a news release that they haven’t made any arrests in the Friday shooting.

Officers say they found the victim in the apartment complex’s parking lot after responding to a 911 call about shots being fired.

Authorities say the man died at a Georgia hospital on Saturday.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting, and the coroner’s office has not released the victim’s name.
