OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) - Authorities are trying to track down the firearm of a Marion County Sheriff’s deputy, whose car was broken into while he was off-duty.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office says deputy Pablo Garcia was fishing Saturday afternoon at Clackamette Park in Oregon City when a window in his personal vehicle was broken.
The sheriff’s office says the unknown person took the gun and a cellphone from the center consol.
The missing gun is a Glock, model 23, .40 caliber handgun.
