HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - A 76-year-old man has been charged with stabbing his roommate three times during an argument in Connecticut.
Karl Walford, of Hartford, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of first-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He remains jailed on $2,500 bond.
Police say the victim was found Saturday in front of the residence he shares with Walford. They say he described the assault and was taken to the hospital.
Police say investigators found the steak knife used in the assault. Walford was arrested.
It couldn’t be determined Tuesday if Walford has an attorney.
