Police: Woman’s death at home near Everett suspicious

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a 50-year-old woman found at a residence near Everett.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the home on the 12000 block of Fourth Avenue West early Tuesday after woman’s roommate reported she had found the woman deceased.

The sheriff’s office says based on evidence found at the scene, the death is believed to be suspicious. No further information about the evidence was immediately released.

Authorities say her vehicle was found Tuesday and a 59-year-old man who was with it was questioned, but no arrests were made.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the woman’s name and cause of death.
