PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Court documents show a man who as a teenager confessed to killing four neighbors in Rhode Island faces an attempted murder charge in the stabbing of an inmate at a Florida prison.
WPRI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2sorJwK ) that documents from a state attorney’s office in Florida say Craig Price is accused of using a homemade knife to repeatedly stab an inmate at the Suwannee Correctional Institution in April.
Price was 15 when he confessed to the four Warwick killings in in 1989. He was prosecuted as a juvenile but is serving time for other infractions.
Price, now 43, was transferred to the Florida prison in 2004 after being deemed a security risk.
He’s set to be arraigned Aug. 30 in Florida. It couldn’t be determined Wednesday if Price is being represented by an attorney.
