NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Police have identified a teenage boy who was shot and killed in New Jersey’s largest city.

Newark police said Wednesday that Rashawn Cooper was found on Goodwin Avenue late Tuesday night. He was taken to University Hospital, where he died.

The killing was the 22nd so far this year in Newark. There were 39 killings by this point last year.



No arrests have been made.
