DEWEY BEACH, Del. (AP) - Police say two bicyclists killed over the weekend in a Delaware beach town were from the District of Columbia.

Delaware State Police on Sunday identified the victims as 53-year-old James D. Walton and 58-year-old Richard Chittick.

The two were killed early Saturday evening in Dewey Beach after being struck by an SUV. Police say the driver of a Chevy Suburban blacked out after suffering a medical emergency.

The victims were on their bicycles outside the Starboard Bar and Restaurant when they were struck. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges have been filed but police are still investigating and seeking to interview witnesses.
