As the news about the horrifying Las Vegas shootings came out, most Americans reacted as Americans do. Americans reached out with shock and sympathy for the victims of this terrorist act.

Many liberals did not.

In an act that has become far too common, liberals began to attack the victims. Haley Geftman-Gold was an attorney for CBS. She posted on her Facebook page a shocking attack against the victims. She said, “If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing. I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”

The story went viral and CBS, embarrassed by the actions of this left wing attorney, fired her.

This story would be one thing if this type of liberal outburst was an uncommon event. It is not. It is a common occurrence.

When Hurricane Harvey hit Texas, the left immediately went crazy. Then University of Tampa sociology professor Ken Storey tweeted first, “I don’t believe in instant Karma but this kind of feels like it for Texas. Hopefully this will help them realize GOP doesn’t care about them.” Then he tweeted, “Those who voted for him [Trump] here deserve it as well.”

When House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was shot, the left went crazy. Twitter user Erica Scott, using the Twitter handle “Resister Erica” tweeted, “Ah, Republicans. It’s all fun and games until one of your own gets shot, huh? #Scalise.”

Another Twitter user named @itsrealH tweeted, “It’s a shame more Republicans weren’t shot.”

It isn’t just isolated liberals on Twitter. Mainstream liberals do the same. Montel Williams said, “Michele [Bachmann], slit your wrist. Go ahead … or, do us all a better thing [sic]. Move that knife up about two feet. Start right at the collarbone.”

Alan Brauer, a communications chair for the Democrat Party of Sacramento County told conservative writer and then-Ted Cruz staffer Amanda Carpenter, “May your children all die from debilitating, painful and incurable diseases.”

Liberals have no decency, even in tragedy. In September, Fox News personality Eric Bolling was fired. The next day, his son died. Liberals gloated. A liberal named Annie Padden took to Twitter and said, “Sad but Bolling the father is reaping his Karma.”

Karma and he got what he deserved. That is what passes for liberal compassion these days.

This isn’t anything new. In 2008, TV news anchor and press secretary for President George W. Bush, Tony Snow, died of cancer. Liberals absolutely rejoiced. The Los Angeles Times posted a very moving story about Snow’s death. The liberals commenting were having none of it. One commentator said, “There is special place in hell for Mr. Snow. As a co-conspirator of the Bush administration, I have no special sympathy for him. I only wish his suffering were more prolonged.”

Not every liberal hates conservatives. But most do. Hatred of conservatives and red state Americans is mainstream liberal thought. This runs from Kathy Griffin holding a fake beheaded Donald Trump head to Lois Lerner conspiring to persecute conservatives for the crime of being conservative. Liberals hate conservatives. Liberals hate what conservatives stand for. Liberals hate America.

Abraham Lincoln faced a similarly divided nation and warned us that a house divided against itself cannot stand. Given how much the left hates America, it is hard to see how there can be a future United States with one of the political parties dominated by people who hate other Americans the way liberals hate their fellow countrymen.
