OPINION:
There’s something about classy, intelligent kind-hearted Republican women that absolutely enrages the American Left. The death of First Lady Barbara Bush has brought out the worst in these people and the ignorant rage is best exemplified by California State University professor Randa Jarrar.
Who is she? Well, that question is probably the reason the until-now-unknown Jarra decided to spew hate at Mrs. Bush and those who were offering words of condolence. Jarra, a professor at Fresno State, took to Twitter to slander Mrs. Bush and those who were mourning her death:

“Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal. F**k outta here with your nice words,” Jarra tweeted.
After receiving the expected response from any human being taking part in our civilization, Jarra doubled down and taunted her critics.
“PSA: either you are against these pieces of shit and their genocidal ways or you’re part of the problem. that’s actually how simple this is. I’m happy the witch is dead. can’t wait for the rest of her family to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million iraqis have. byyyeeeeeeee.”
Jarra’s tweets are now protected from public view, but before she made that move, she behaved as though there would be no repercussions to her outburst. “LOL! Let me help you. You should tag my president @JosephICastro. What I love about being an American professor is my right to free speech, and what I love about Fresno State is that I always feel protected and at home here. GO BULLDOGS!” she tweeted. ️
It appears as though Jarra was prophetic in her smug arrogance. Cal State Fresno issued the following statement Tuesday evening:
On behalf of Fresno State, I extend my deepest condolences to the Bush family on the loss of our former First Lady, Barbara Bush.
We share the deep concerns expressed by others over the personal comments made today by Professor Randa Jarrar, a professor in the English Department at Fresno State. Her statements were made as a private citizen, not as a representative of Fresno State.
Professor Gerard’s express personal views and commentary are obviously contrary to the core values of our University, which include respect and empathy for individuals with divergent points of view, and a sincere commitment to mutual understanding and progress.
