WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - The former director of the public library in a small Massachusetts town has pleaded guilty to embezzling $50,000 in library money.

Cheryl Paul-Bradley, who worked at the Stevens Memorial Library in Ashburnham from 1984 until her resignation in 2014, was sentenced Monday to three years of probation, forfeited her pension and agreed to pay restitution after pleading guilty to several charges.

Prosecutors say the 55-year-old Troy, New Hampshire woman took the money from March 2010 to July 2014.
