INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a motorist was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an officer after backing into a sheriff’s patrol vehicle and then leading deputies on a chase near Los Angeles.
Sheriff’s officials say the suspect drove into the deputies’ car during a traffic stop late Monday in Inglewood.
KABC-TV reports the suspect was arrested after a five minute pursuit.
