LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police say a tour bus with no passengers hit and killed a woman while she was waiting at a bus stop.

Sgt. Paul McCullough tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the woman was alone at the bus stop on Thursday night when the bus hit her.

McCullough says the bus proceeded into a CVS parking lot and finally came to a halt in an alleyway behind the store.

He says no one else was hurt.

The woman was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center where she died.

The woman’s age was unknown.

Authorities say it’s unclear what caused the bus to leave the road.

McCullough says the driver did not show signs of impairment and it seems speed was not a factor.
