OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say one person was injured in a car collision that left one in the path of a train in northwest Omaha.

The cars collided around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at a crossing. The drivers and a passenger managed to get out before the train arrived and hit the car on the tracks.

Authorities say the person hurt in the initial collision was taken to a hospital.
