BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A Bismarck man is accused of assaulting two women before barricading himself in a home last weekend.

Twenty-year-old Tjaden Smith is charged with felony counts of aggravated assault and terrorizing and misdemeanor assault.

Police responded to a domestic altercation at a house in Mandan about 1 p.m. Saturday. Two women told police Smith had assaulted them, including one who said she was struck in the head with a snow globe.

The Bismarck Tribune reports Smith fled, leading law enforcement officers on a chase to a Bismarck where he holed up in a relative’s house before surrendering house late Saturday night.
