ANALYSIS/OPINION:

A Long Island MS-13 killer who was deported has been recaptured back on Long Island. Translation: The U.S. government dutifully got rid of the problem that shouldn’t have been here in the first place, but because there’s no wall on our southern border, the problem came right back.

How is every politician who is riding the brakes on the border wall able to sleep at night knowing they are continuing to endanger the lives of American citizens — the lives they took an oath to protect? How does anyone with a molecule for a brain not see that it’s pointless to talk about fixing our immigration system until we slam the gates shut on illegal immigration and go from there? As conservative columnist Ann Coulter famously wrote, “When the bathtub is overflowing, the very first thing you do is: TURN OFF THE WATER.”

It boils my blood to see stories of caravans filled with the world’s most destitute and illiterate people looking to crash our southern border when a simple wall would act as a devastating deterrent to this nonsense, which is sucking the lifeblood from America.

And I guess we’re lucky if those that make it across are only here to drain our public resources. How many killers like this MS-13 example are roaming our streets looking for easy prey to sexually assault, rob and/or kill?

This wall would be so beneficial to bringing the country back from the lawlessness that has infected us that it boggles the mind how any American citizen could be against it.
