OPINION:
A consistent tactic of Democrats is to accuse Republicans of the very actions they themselves are committing. For two years we heard Democrats claim President Trump colluded to steal the 2016 presidential election. Meanwhile they have been working nonstop to steal the 2020 election.
Anyone over the age of six knows the difference between giving a command or instruction and asking a question. But Democrats have been pretending there is no difference when they attack Mr. Trump. They tell the lie that Mr. Trump gave a command or instruction to the “The Squad” to “go back” where they came from. In fact, Mr. Trump asked why they didn’t go back and help fix the places from which they came.
Lying is what the Democrats have accepted as their campaign strategy. There is no other explanation for the ceaseless charges that Mr. Trump is a racist, a white supremacist, a Nazi sympathizer and a compulsive liar, or that his supporters are no less deplorable than he. Beto O’Rourke said “it’s really hard” not to consider all Trump voters racists.
What is truly hard not to consider is that Beto O’Rourke and the Democratic Party have subscribed to Hitler’s axiom that if you tell a lie big enough and often enough, eventually people will come to believe it. I could be wrong. Maybe they just have a complete lack of integrity.
