I think Rod Rosenstein should testify before Congress about the Mueller report because he is an important fact witness, having been involved from the very beginning with full visibility into the investigation (“Democrats’ soured view of Rod Rosenstein diminishes complex role he played in Mueller probe,” Web, March 25). He and Robert Mueller and Attorney General Barr would make an excellent hearing panel.

Your story suggests I want to make him a ‘whipping boy.” To the contrary — I have always viewed him as a law-enforcement professional and have defended him from critics. I have no reason to do or think otherwise. He has been a sincere and honorable professional, and he would be a valuable and truthful witness, in my opinion.
