After missing last week’s game with a hamstring injury, New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is officially active for Sunday’s contest against the Arizona Cardinals.
Jones returns to a Giants team that managed to pull off a massive upset last week over the Seattle Seahawks to retain control of the NFC East. Before his injury, Jones had been playing better — dramatically cutting down on his number of turnovers. Jones had gone three straight games without throwing an interception or losing a fumble, the longest streak of his young career.
In 2020, Jones has thrown 2,335 yards with eight touchdowns to nine interceptions.
At 5-7, the Giants face a slumping Cardinals team who have three straight and four of their last five.
