CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - A federal inmate in West Virginia has been sentenced to an additional year for assaulting a prison guard.
Brian Keith Rose, 34, was sentenced Monday in federal court in Clarksburg, U.S. Attorney Bill Powell said.
Rose admitted to the October 2018 assault at the U.S. Penitentiary at Hazelton.
The sentence was added to one Rose is serving through February 2041.
