ROSSVILLE, Md. (AP) - A former employee of a hospital in Maryland has been charged with multiple sex offenses, including the assault of a patient.
Police in Baltimore County on Monday announced the arrest of Donald Joseph Benson Jr., news outlets reported. Court records show the 40-year-old Nottingham resident has been charged with possession of child pornography, sexual abuse of a minor and other sex offenses.

Peach said police began investigating Benson after receiving a tip from the from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
MedStar spokeswoman Debra Schindler told news outlets Benson was terminated as soon as the hospital learned about the investigation.
Court records show Benson is being held without bond. His public defender could not be reached for comment as the attorney’s name is not listed in court records.
