Sometimes, reading the headlines, one would think America is being taken over by a foreign enemy. But turning on the news one sees that the enemy is not foreign.

I watched in disbelief as the 44th president of the United States promised to fundamentally transform the country that elected him. And no one batted an eye. For eight years.

Now I watch as a Democratic, communist candidate promises again to transform the country that will not ever elect him (and I gain reassurance in America’s future).

The face of the enemy is seen in many places today; it no longer feels the need to hide. It has many defenders and protectors, also seen and read about in many places.

The fight is real. The battles and the battle lines are real. They are defined and they are unavoidable.
