CLEVELAND (AP) - An Ohio Catholic priest pleaded not guilty to 21 child pornography-related counts in a Cleveland courtroom on Wednesday.

The Rev. Robert McWilliams, 39, was indicted last week by a Cuyahoga County grand jury. He was arrested last month at a parish in the Cleveland suburb of Strongsville after the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force searched his living space using a warrant from neighboring Geauga County.

The Cuyahoga County indictment charges McWilliams with one count of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, 19 counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor and one count of possession of criminal tools.

Geauga County authorities have accused McWilliams of posing online as a girl in 2018 to solicit nude photographs from a teenage boy. He pleaded not guilty in Geauga County earlier this month to a charge of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material. He has been held there, with his bond set at $150,000.

A message seeking comment on McWilliams‘ behalf was left with his attorney Wednesday.
