OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - An Omaha woman has been arrested, accused of shooting and critically injuring her husband, police said.

The shooting happened around 2:30 p.m. Monday at a home in north-central Omaha, the Omaha World-Herald reported. The 25-year-old man was taken to an Omaha hospital in critical condition, police said.

The man’s wife, 27-year-old Jacqueline Windham, was arrested later Monday night on suspicion of first-degree domestic violence assault and use of a gun in a felony, police said.



Police have not said what may have led to the shooting.
