Sunday’s game between the Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears will start as scheduled despite a Falcons player testing positive for the coronavirus.

Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell tested positive for the virus on Saturday, causing some to wonder whether Sunday’s game would be in jeopardy of being postponed. But after conducting additional tests, the rest of the Falcons’ results returned negative.

The NFL Network first reported the news.

Terrell, a first-round pick out of Alabama, was the first NFL player to test positive for COVID-19 during the season.  He will not play against the Bears and is on the league’s reserve/COVID-19 list.
