TIPTONVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Wildlife officials are offering a $10,000 reward in their investigation into the killing of a bald eagle in West Tennessee.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency are seeking the public’s help as they work to figure out who shot and killed a mature bald eagle in Lake County.
The bird was shot on Club House Road on March 20.
The reward for information leading to the prosecution of the eagle’s killer has increased from $4,500 to $10,000. Anyone with information should call either the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at 615-736-5532 or the TWRA at 731-423-5725.
