I was glad to see Donald Trump’s defense lawyers in the recent impeachment proceedings concur with my observations of deceptive tactics used by the House managers to prosecute the case. The same tactic is utilized when a story doesn’t fit the liberal media’s narrative, falling into what is know as fake news.

In their opening arguments, the Democrats showed clips of footage from the Jan. 6 Trump rally in D.C. that urged disenfranchised voters to walk peacefully to the Capitol and voice their right to protest. These videos were edited and doctored to fit the left’s narrative to the brink of fraud, by cutting short and eliminating passages in Mr. Trump’s speech, changing the meaning of his words and playing parts of the speech as soundtrack during the rolling of footage of pre-planned, organized rioters breaking in and doing minimal damage to the Capitol. The Jan. 6 riot was a far cry from the devastation that’s been inflicted by Black Lives Matter and antifa rioters nationwide (though their riots have been depicted by the fake-news press as ‘peaceful demonstrations’).

You don’t have to be an expert at anything to be able to detect this deception in the Democratic House manager’s presentation — unless your bias blocks your ability to see the obvious.

The Democrats’ endless, tedious attempts to discredit and destroy Donald Trump have been made ad nauseam to no avail, but with no sign they intend to stop.
