Joy Behar says Democrats struggling with a response to claims of sexual harassment against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo should adopt an “ignore everything” approach.

The co-host of ABC’s “The View” says turning a blind eye to three claims of sexual misconduct against the Democrat would mirror similar behavior by Republican officials over the years.

Her comments came after seeing footage of South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham tout the “Republican model” displayed during Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination hearings.

“Well, yes, I do agree with them they should use the Republican model which is to basically ignore everything like they did with Kavanaugh,” Ms. Behar said. “I mean, the Republican playbook is, let’s hope that this goes away and let’s not really go into it. So he’s right, we should use the Republican playbook because the Democrats do the opposite. A case in point, Al Franken, Senator Gillibrand, ‘off with his head’ immediately, ‘he needs to resign’ and a lot of Democrats got behind it.”

Mr. Kavanaugh was accused of attempted rape at an unspecified place and time during the summer of 1982 by college professor Christine Blasey Ford.

Both individuals were questioned about the allegations, which had no corroborating witnesses, before the judge’s successful navigation through the nomination process.

Co-host Ana Navarro also opined on the matter by blasting “hypocrites” who “remained silent on the over two dozen sexual misconduct allegations against Donald Trump, NewsBusters reported.
