Police in Colorado are searching for a man Tuesday after authorities said he shot and killed three people and left another with severe injuries during a possible property dispute in the southern part of the state.
The Custer County Sheriff’s Office said a manhunt is active for suspected shooter Hanme K. Clark, 45, accused of gunning down two men and a woman Monday.
The shooting also wounded another woman, who police said is expected to survive. The victims weren’t identified.

Authorities said Mr. Clark was last seen driving a white Ram 1500 pickup truck with a topper and a Colorado license plate reading BHLK27.
The sheriff’s office said the shooting took place just before 1 p.m. Monday near Westcliffe, 80 miles south of Colorado Springs.
Police said a SWAT team was called into the location shortly afterward and a shelter-in-place order was issued during law enforcement’s initial response. The order was lifted around 8:15 p.m.
Despite Mr. Clark managing to escape the immediate area, authorities said they were confident he would be tracked down.
“We have a very good lead on almost exactly where the suspect and the vehicle are, and we’re working with another law enforcement agency to take him into custody,” a spokesperson for the Custer County Sheriff’s Office said during a Monday press conference.
The spokesperson also said Mr. Clark and at least one of the victims had “previous civil disputes” over property lines.
Authorities described Mr. Clark as 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police said he may be with a woman, though authorities didn’t describe her appearance or her relationship to the suspect.
