Thieves climbed onto the roof of an Atlanta strip club and entered through the ceiling before using power tools to steal $250,000 from the establishment’s safes earlier this week.

On Monday morning, the burglars, clad in ski masks and gloves, managed to break into Atlanta’s Onyx Gentlemen’s Club without setting off alarms. The two suspects brought power tools with them and, after crawling to the safes, cut them open with power tools, the Atlanta Police Department said in a release Wednesday.

Atlanta police did not say how the burglars got onto the roof. They got through the ceiling by cutting a hole, according to WSB-TV.

In addition, ATMs inside the club were pushed over and left face down. But police said the machines were not damaged and that no money was taken from them.

The suspects left about two hours after they broke in, again without triggering the alarm, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
