The U.S. Secret Service did a good job at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.

However, I was there, and I told my wife that the president should not be seated in front of 2,500 people without a protective shield.

President Trump was within 200 to 300 feet of the audience in the room, and anyone with a semiautomatic weapon could easily have hit him.

Great work, Secret Service, but a clear protective glass or transparent shield would not bother anyone and would protect the president.
