In late 2023, college campuses across the United States erupted with protests against Israel’s invasion of the Gaza Strip and the subsequent destruction there and the deaths of Palestinian civilians.

This occurred after Hamas attacked Israel and tortured, murdered and kidnapped 1,200 innocent Israeli civilians.

Why didn’t college students protest the Iranian government’s harsh response to the civilian uprising in Iran? The Iranian authorities killed tens of thousands of people and imprisoned tens of thousands of others who were just expressing their dissatisfaction with the government.

Why aren’t there calls for boycotts of Iranian goods produced by Iranian companies that support the current regime? Why didn’t some of the college protesters go to Iran to protest?

Also, why aren’t there college protests against the Russian invasion and occupation of Ukraine, the vast destruction of cities, the killings of thousands of civilians and the kidnappings of children? Surely, the leveling of city blocks throughout Ukraine and the terrible toll the Russian attacks are taking on the Ukrainian population are worthy of protests.

If Russia succeeds in Ukraine, then other European countries could be next.

It appears that some college students are discriminatory in protesting the actions of various countries.
