In a 50-state comparison of laws that secure, preserve and protect the religious liberties rights of individuals, Arkansas leads the way.
That’s according to First Liberty Institute’s Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy’s annual Religious Liberty in the States index, the fifth year’s of which was just released.
Worst states? Some of the Democrat-controlled jurisdictions.
But as Mark David Hall, director of the project, said: Most states didn’t even make it past the 50 percent mark for upholding religious liberties — meaning, most states still did and do a poor job of protecting these core birth-rights of the individual.
