OPINION:
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani was born in Uganda. I assume that in order to obtain the privilege of becoming a citizen of the United States, he had to make a pledge to honor this country.
But instead he is honoring the broken, failed values of the country in which he was born.
To our sorrow and the sorrow of all American citizens who went to wars to preserve our freedoms and values, Mr. Mamdani and his minions are trying to bring dysfunction and mayhem to the United States. And they will succeed unless voters wake up.
People are more easily controlled when given handouts, and the democratic socialists like Mr. Mamdani know it.
Just look at Iran, where the people are controlled by butchers. The citizens are hoping we will save them. Who else would?
We already see Mamdani ideology in several of our members of Congress. Others are now running for Congress.
Think twice about electing those who would make nefarious laws. Power corrupts absolutely. Don’t fall for it.
