New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s fake compassion for hostile anti-Jewish attacks, his refusal to condemn the phrase “Globalize the intifada,” his political alignment with Jew-hating podcaster Hasan Piker — who says that Israel has no right to exist — and his strong desire to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are all fanning the flames of antisemitism (“9/11 families launch petition to exclude Zohran Mamdani from 25th anniversary memorial of attacks”).

They are causing a marked increase in anti-Jewish incidents.

Mr. Mamdani’s anti-Israel campaign is much like the left’s dangerous rhetoric toward President Trump (calling him Hitler, a Nazi, a fascist and an existential threat to democracy), which has incited multiple assassination attempts.

And it is no accident. It stems from a pure, unadulterated and deep-rooted hatred.

Knowing that Mr. Mamdani supports Hamas and Iran, who can blame the 9/11 families for wanting to exclude him from the 25th anniversary memorial events? If allowed to attend, this poor excuse of a mayor would be nothing but a thorn in their side.
